Each year, about 300 juniors and first-semester seniors from all majors — including engineering — take advantage of Bucknell’s study-abroad program, one that extends to almost 60 countries. In recent years, about 40 percent of each graduating class has studied off campus.

The majority of students study in Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, or Central and South America. Bucknell-run programs include Bucknell en France, Bucknell in London, Bucknell en España, and Bucknell in Barbados. Students benefit by working with Bucknell's Office of International Education to find the program best suited to their needs.
