Robert F. Kennedy Jr. leads spring Forum

Internationally renowned environmental lawyer and bestselling author Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will kick off the spring events in the continuing Bucknell Forum series, "Global Leadership: Questions for the21st Century" with a talk titled "Globalization and the Green Economy: A New Vision for American Leadership and Strength."

  • Handbook of Community Movements and Local Organizations, co-written by sociology professor Carl Milofsky, has been awarded the 2009 Virginia A. Hodgkinson Research Prize as the best book in the philanthropy and non-profit sector by ARNOVA (Association for Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action). [Nov. 16, 2009]
  • Eric Tillman, associate professor of chemistry, has received a Henry Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar Award for 2009 from the Camille and Henry Dreyfus Foundation. The award includes an unrestricted grant of $60,000 to support his polymer synthesis research. [posted Oct. 27, 2009]
